About the Department
Bachelor of Commerce is the most admired academic preferable stream in all over the world. Keeping in view the contemporary business milieu the programme is turned to attain full knowledge related to the Standard of Accounting rules, Business Laws, Taxation, Auditing and the inner functioning of various profit and non-profit organizations.
It consists of interdisciplinary courses such as Accountancy, Indian Economic Development, Principles of Management, Banking, Insurance, Auditing and Assurance, Business Statistics, Business laws & Taxation laws, Investment Management, Principles of Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations Research, International Trade, International Economics and Basic Computer Courses and Tally.
The Department of Commerce with Professional Accounting was started at 2021-2022. At present we have 73 young and energetic students. And we have four faculty members with highly qualified, well experienced and committed who can set very good academic standards and valuable thoughts. Apart from providing educational background to the students the department promotes moral values and strives for the quality improvement of students.
Course Objectives
- To develop basic skills in the subjects of Commerce and Accounting subjects.
- To expose the students to professional skills in the field of Commerce / Business.
- To develop entrepreneurial skill.
- To lay foundation for Professional courses like ACS/CMA/ACA for commerce graduates.
